The other day I watched a Bloomberg. Economist was talking about what they believed that the future will bring in the coming months. Made a statement which was too deep and thought I would share some of what I remember from the interview, mixed with my thoughts. I do not recall that this was due to the enormous amount of information you read/watch every day for the economy. What he said but it stuck with me all the information that I had taken over the last few days. That is why I wrote this article. Credit is due to that person if, whoever you are! Will put some of the direct offers ... the ... um ... offers.
"Everyone is looking for an event, such as Lehman" or a scandal that will kill just economics. I do not think we will see what happens. "What we are seeing more cancer from an event". "The events already happened.Obama got elected and Lehman "; these were the sparks that has led us to the fourth verse.
Cancer will spread slowly through multiple channels. The scandal of mortgage MBS is enormous, and will continue for five years or more.We Currency devaluations, invoices (trade wars), austerity and old political alliances falling slowly and painfully. nothing else ' pull the solution quickly ' as Lehman. The next ten years will see time slow down and global economic change for 98% of us.
So let's stop looking for an event, such as the crash of ' 29 or the election of 1932.We had them.Let's take a look the next steps of our economic cycle.Phases such as those mentioned above; currency wars, Government budget cut and tariff wars. Moreover, I am looking for more deflation. I believe strongly in the camp, however, that is deflating a discussion for another article.
