San Francisco is usually a laid back kind of town. hipsters, peaceniks, Folk singers, stoners and whackos, all living together Perfect harmony.

But on Tuesday, San Francisco passed new legislation, which is not so lovey dovey-, at least not for local fast food restaurants.

"Kids ' lunches" is no longer be sold as toys unless they fulfil the particular nutritional standards.standards, which can threaten McDonald's Happy meals.

On Tuesday, with a veto-proof vote of 8-3, San Francisco officials adopted a law that would allow restaurants to give toys with kids meals only if meals with less than 600 calories, contain fruit and vegetables and include drinks with no excessive fat or sugar; the law takes effect 1, 2011.

The first thing that comes to mind is McDonald's Happy meals. Since 1979, when imported first Happy meals, McDonald's has used the kid's meal, especially the free game on the market directly for children.

McDonald's cannot indicate that frankly, but must come from, we all know what these games Cheap plastic "made in China ' is really about-" Mommy like McDonald 's! "

Here is a good lunch business since 1979, in Klingon:

San Francisco officials say the law is designed to help combat childhood obesity.difficult to argue against that. But McDonald's isn't happy about this. one representative Said the company is disappointed with the new legislation, and called download free game for a good lunch "part of a fun, family experience."

Without doubt, a law like this is one of those evil "progressive" initiatives so many Americans are scared, and Yes, it's too big brother-ish.And Yes, it is the Government puts the screws private industry. But, there are any other solutions out there; there are many fat guys! I just see!

You can't bury your head in the sand and pretend that things are the same as it was in 1979. Now, in 2010, we will have a major obesity epidemic-both children and adults-so to make a change, a change that doesn't matter, sometimes you have to buck story. Thus, calm down and give the law a chance.

If you think it is un-American for your kids to cheat their right to McDonald's and cheap games, it is easy to circumvent the law. Take your kids to McDonalds, stuff them with fries and burgers, and then drag the inflated slightly electrodes Toys "R" us. Problem solved!
